SPRING 2024 IMMERSION DAYS
Take advantage of the Spring break to discover Georges Méliès School!
3-day internship to discover the school’s programs, especially Artisan of Cinema & New Technologies
DISCOVERY OF THE 7TH ART:
The youth will work in groups to create a pixilation short film, to discover stop-motion animation techniques and initiate themselves to special effects using green screen compositing.
The video will be created following the same principle as “Animating Myself” by Kevin Parry.

3 days to discover the world of Artisans de Image.
Training contents
The Immersion Days offer 3 days to discover the various courses offered at Georges Méliès School, preparing for careers in animation, special effects, and cinema. These days provide a first approach to the curriculum and life at the school. At the end of these 3 days, you will leave with your creations!
The contents are adapted based on your interest in one of our programs: Animated Image Designer or Artisan of Cinema & New Technologies.!

Shoot a film
Learn more about the world of new cinema technologies, its constraints and techniques, its similarities with the world of animation.

Traditional Animation
2D traditional Animation or Stop motion animation

Observational drawing
Exercise your eye! Knowing how to observe and transcribe life, an essential step in pursuing studies in the field of animation cinema.

Modeling
Modeling, sculpture, here again one of the fundamental artistic skills that allows understanding volume before moving on to 3D computer modeling.
