Fine Arts & Cinema Preparatory Class

Georges Melies School offers this one-year course to students who want to integrate themselves into the School but who haven’t yet managed to reach a suitable level.
This foundation year thus enables the students to acquire the essential academic basics for artistic training.

PROGRAMME

Learning the academic fundamentals through theory and practical lessons. The practical enables the following basics to be acquired: observational drawing, drawing live models,

perspective drawing, techniques for using colour and modelling. Theory classes are aimed at deepening knowledge in History of Art and History of Cinema and are punctuated by visits to museums and exhibitions.

Candidater

Fine Arts Preparatory Class

To join the Fine Arts Preparatory Class, you must pass a motivational interview and have the baccalaureate but also have a good general and artistic culture, skills in applied arts and a great openness of mind.

At the end of this year and depending on the level acquired, you can integrate the 1st year Animated Image Designer or Artisan of Cinema & new technologies.

Applications for this training are made throughout the year. It is always possible to apply for the 2024 school year.
