Graduated from École Méliès in 2003, in the Animated Image Artisan course, Guillaume Rocheron began his career in Paris at Buf Compagnie (Panic Room, Batman Begins).

In 2005, he joined MPC (London) as Senior Technical Director, then CG Supervisor, working on projects such as X-Men: The Last Stand and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

In 2010, he became VFX Supervisor on Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. In 2013, his work on Life of Pi earned him a Visual Effects Society Award, a BAFTA, and his first Academy Award.

Before 1917 (Sam Mendes), he supervised visual effects on Batman v Superman, Godzilla and Ghost in the Shell. By the age of 38, he already had 2 Academy Awards to his name.
