Conversation with a VFX and CG professional
Julien Forest is a 3D Computer Graphics artist from the very first graduating class of École Méliès (class of 2002). Over the years, he has worked in several major French and American studios, including BUF, Eight VFX, PDI/DreamWorks and, more recently, Blizzard Entertainment. He is now a CG Supervisor at Rodeo FX.
In this interview, he looks back on his journey, the reality of working in high-end VFX and animation, and what it means to supervise CG teams on large-scale international productions.
