Creative Director, Pre-Production – Vincent Aupetit
Interview with a film industry professional
Vincent Aupetit began his career at Electronic Arts as a character animator, handling blocking, staging, and final animation for game scenes and cutscenes.
He then joined Passion Pictures in London (Academy Award winner), before moving to Framestore in 2009 as principal previsualization animator on Gravity, where he collaborated closely with director Alfonso Cuarón.
In 2011, he joined The Third Floor London as previsualization supervisor, developing his expertise in visual storytelling, storyboarding, camera work, and character animation. Over eight years he supervised previsualization on a wide range of high-budget productions, before being appointed Creative Director.
In 2020, Vincent returned to Framestore as Creative Director and Principal Supervisor of the company's new pre-production division. His recent credits include Netflix's Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey and the previsualization of Marvel's Moon Knight (Disney+, 2022).
