Creative DIRECTOR, PRE-PRODUCTION – Vincent AUPETIT, FRAMES TORE

Vincent started his professional career at Electronic Arts, where he worked as a character animator, in charge of blocking, staging, and final animation for game scenes and cutscenes.

His career in animation continued in a London studio, Passion Pictures, an Oscar winner, before he joined Framestore in 2009, where he worked as principal preview animator on Gravity. This gave him the opportunity to collaborate with the director Alfonso Cuaron, as a key member of the creative team made up of artists and storytellers.

In 2011, he joined The Third Floor London as a preview supervisor, a role that allowed him to further develop his skills in visual narration, storyboarding, staging, camera work, and character animation. For eight years, he supervised the preview and post-preview on a large range of high-budget films, before taking on the role of Creative Director, bringing creative leadership to TTFL’s supervisor teams, known as one of the best in the industry.

In 2020, Vincent went back to Framestore with the leadership role of Creative Director and Principal Supervisor of the new division in the company’s pre-production services (FPS). His latest works with this new division include Netflix’s Christmas musical Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey, as well as the supervision of the visualisation of Marvel’s TV series Moon Knight, released on Disney+ on 30th March 2022.
