LAST AVAILABLE PLACES FOR 2026–2027

École Méliès is now offering a rolling admissions process for the last available places for the 2026–2027 academic year.

This process concerns applicants wishing to join the Animated Image Artisan programme, Cinema Artisan programme or the Fine Arts Preparatory Class.

Admissions continue as applications are received, depending on the number of places still available. Once your application has been submitted, the school will contact you again to inform you of the arrangements for your examination or interview.

Applications are currently being reviewed on a rolling basis for the last available places.
In-person or remote assessment depending on the programme Some tests and interviews may be held remotely. The exact arrangements will be communicated to you after your application.
A final opportunity to present your universe, your motivation and your artistic perspective in order to join École Méliès for the 2026–2027 academic year.

You take your exam or interview

Depending on the programme chosen, you will be invited to sit a test, attend an interview, or both.

PROGRAMMES CONCERNED

Animated Image Artisan programme

Last places available

Admission includes an illustration test, an observation test, as well as a motivational interview with presentation of a portfolio.

Applicants receive the instructions and assessment arrangements directly after registration.

Cinema Artisan programme

Last places available

Admission is based on a creative exercise, an assessment of your cinematic culture, and an interview during which you can present your background and intentions.

After applying, you will receive the instructions needed to prepare for your assessment as quickly as possible.

Fine Arts Preparatory Class

Last places available

For the Fine Arts Preparatory Class, admission is by interview. This stage is an opportunity to discuss your profile, your motivation and your academic plans. The application/administration fee is waived for this programme.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • Hold a Baccalauréat diploma (or be in the process of obtaining it).
  • Submit your application during the remaining open admissions period.
  • Pass the entrance exam or the interview corresponding to the chosen programme.
  • Have a good general and artistic culture.
  • Be comfortable with digital tools.
  • Application fee: €90waived for the Fine Arts Preparatory Class.
