2D and 3D animator, character designer, and storyboard artist, Yoshi Tamura has built an international career.
He has worked for Disney and DreamWorks on films including Hercules (1997), Tarzan (1999), Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001), The Jungle Book 2 (2003), Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (2003), Shark Tale (2004), Over the Hedge (2006), Flushed Away (2006), and The Princess and the Frog (2009).
As Animation Director on Zarafa, he received the Best in Show Award at SIGGRAPH 2012 for his short film Reflexion. In 2019, he supervised animation on Klaus at Sergio Pablos Animation Studio. Yoshi regularly teaches at the École Méliès.
