Conversation with an animation and film professional
Paul and Gaëtan Brizzi are cartoon directors, painters, and illustrators. After studying at the ENSAD, the two brothers made themselves noticed as early as 1977 by winning the César Award for Best Animated Short Film for their film Fracture. They then directed Asterix Versus Caesar for Gaumont and Dargaud Film before founding their own studio, Brizzi Films. They joined Disney's television subsidiary in 1989, working on Welcome to Pooh Corner, TaleSpin, Goof Troop, and DuckTales, before contributing the celebrated Firebird sequence to Fantasia 2000.
